AT&T to Sell All-New BlackBerry Z10 for $200 With Contract

AT&T to Sell All-New BlackBerry Z10 for $200 With ContractAT&T said it will start selling the all-new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone for $200 with a contract beginning tomorrow, March 12, but the timing may not be so good for the handset maker’s attempting to re-invent itself.
Samsung on Thursday, March 14, is expected to unveil the new Galaxy S4, the latest version of its flagship phone and the chief competitor to the iPhone.
The BlackBerry Z10 runs on a new operating system, but its price only matches the cost of getting an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy with a contract on AT&T and the other major carriers.
BlackBerry’s 10 platform is its fastest and most advanced system yet. The Z10 is the company’s primary hope for re-gaining traction in a market it dominated before Apple came up with the iPhone more than five years ago.
The BlackBerry Z10 will be the first BlackBerry smartphone to run on AT&T 4G LTE.
