Invisible-Car Technology has Arrived with Land Rover's Freaky 'Transparent Bonnet'

You probably didn’t even realize that “invisible car technology” was even a viable option. Well, fasten your seat belts.
Using cameras installed under the hood, and projecting a live video feed onto the windshield, Land Rover has created an effect it calls the “Transparent Bonnet.” (Bonnet is what the Brits call a car’s hood.)
The hood doesn’t actually disappear, but the technology lets you see through the hood and straight through to the road under the car as you drive.
This cutting-edge tech will be in a concept car that Land Rover will show off at the New York International Auto Show later this month.
Of course, this concept is meant to be seen, rather than read about. Here’s the video.
