The future in mobile payments and wearable technology has arrived. At least for those who are willing to wear a men’s suit.
Men’s wear label M.J. Bale, Heritage Bank and Visa have joined forces to produce a suit with a payment chip and antenna woven into the sleeve. (Scroll down for video.)
I know. It sounds a little like James Bond’s latest gadget from “Q”. But it’s a real byproduct of the evolving trends in wearable technology and mobile payments.
The “contactless” technology embedded in the suit is linked to an online Heritage Bank Prepaid account.
M.J. Bale said they are “giving men the ability to pay for anything with the effortless swagger of a celebrity, tycoon or double agent.”
CEO of M.J. Bale, Matt Jenson, said:”The world’s most powerful men don’t carry a wallet. This suit allows you to join their ranks.”
