If you are a wind turbine service technician, also known as windtechs, you are in the fast growing occupation, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
Windtechs, with a median pay of $48,000 annually, install, maintain, and repair wind turbines.
But if you are an occupational therapy assistant, or assist with physical therapy, your job is also in high demand. The median salary for these jobs range from $24,650 to $54,410 a year.
The BLS list projects a job’s growth rate from 2014 to 2024. The job of windtech registers a 108 percent growth rate. That figure blows away the next job, occupational therapy assistant, which comes in second place with a growth rate of 43 percent.
The jobs on the list require at least some college, or accrediations, licenses or registrations.
